How do i hotwire my bike?

my honda cbr got stolen but turned up looking pretty alright! however it won't start.. the battery is full, there are a couple of wires out of place kind of under the right handlebar but i really don't know anything about bikes! i assume they tried to hotwire it... how?? and i can just try hotwiring it myself to get it started so i can move it back to my flat and fix it properly. any help would be appreciated :)
