Was it my deal a good purchase?

Well I'm new to cycling I just started a couple of days ago since I wanted to commute to university after I'm done with high school. I bought an used road bike in a shop not knowing what to look for. It was in rough condition, however they fixed it to work brand new. They replaced the tires and derailers and shifts also the handlebars. The frame is a Land Shark. I paid $384 for the bicycle. The tires are new. Kenda tires with Dura-Ace rims. It has an 8 speed Dura-Ace Down Tube Shifters. The gears are Dura-Ace along with the brakes and pedals. The handle bars are Cinelli. Most of the stuff replaced is used, however not the tires and handlebars. I want to know if it was a good purchase and didn't get ripped off.
