The guy who assembled my shwinn road bike kinda fudged up.?
to shift up on the front derailleurs, you push the brake level to the side on the left handlebar, and to shift down you hit the button on the side of the hood, which is right where your thumb rests. For the rear derailleur, it's the opposite. The problem with that is when I'm in my drops, I have to lean to the left and reach up over the top of the right handlebars to shift up, which is uncomftortable, and I think it messes with my aerodynamics because I slow down a bit when I do it, if theres a way to switch it and someone could tell me that would be great, But if not, no big deal because I'm thinking about upgrading to a nicer and lighter bike soon.
