I cut my handlebar ends and one side looks longer than the other?

Hey, I cut 3/4th inch off each end of my handlebars, and if you've done this before, you know you can't get them exactly the same. But one side looks longer than the other. I looked at the bars directly under a light so lighting angle effect doesn't give it the illusions of different length(?). So one side is obviously longer than the other... how can I fix this? It's hard to measure because the bars start to bend in the middle. I mean is there some kind fo method to get both sides pretty much even?
